Terms of Service

The service

socialized.dev is operated by Fishball Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16287336), with its registered office at 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom.

socialized.dev is a distribution layer for social video. It enables creators, developers, and businesses to upload video assets, manage brand profiles, and publish content across multiple social platforms through a web dashboard and a unified REST API.

Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you” or “User”) and Fishball Ltd (“Fishball”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), governing your access to and use of socialized.dev, including our website at socialized.dev, the web dashboard at dash.socialized.dev, and the developer API at api.socialized.dev (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Service.

Accounts and eligibility

socialized.dev is for adults: you must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you use socialized.dev for a business or on behalf of an entity, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business or entity to these Terms.

To use the Service, you authenticate using an email magic link or a Google account. You are responsible for safeguarding access to your email account and any active browser sessions. You must notify us immediately at yo@socialized.dev if you become aware of any unauthorized access to your account.

API keys and developer obligations

If you use our REST API, you may generate cryptographic API keys (sk_...). You agree to:

  • Keep your API keys confidential and secure; never expose them in client-side code or public repositories.
  • Use API keys strictly within the brand scopes assigned to them.
  • Immediately revoke and rotate any compromised API keys via the developer settings.
  • Accept sole responsibility for all API requests and resource consumption initiated with your keys.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload, dispatch, or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, infringing, obscene, abusive, or in violation of any person’s intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Send unsolicited bulk communications, spam, fraudulent messages, or misleading metadata.
  • Attempt to probe, scan, reverse engineer, or breach the security of the Service, our underlying Cloudflare infrastructure, or destination platform APIs.
  • Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, billing meters, or authentication mechanisms.
  • Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the integrity or security of socialized.dev, its APIs, or underlying infrastructure.

Third-party platforms

socialized.dev publishes content to external social platforms. Your use of these platforms is subject to their respective terms and policies:

You are solely responsible for ensuring that all content you dispatch complies with each destination platform’s community guidelines, copyright rules, and technical specifications. We are not responsible for actions taken by third-party platforms, including content removal, demonetization, strikes, or account suspensions.

Paid plans and billing

Subscription plans and usage-based overage fees are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.

You can get a full refund on request within 14 days of your first payment on a plan, by emailing yo@socialized.dev. After that you can cancel any time and your plan runs to the end of the period you’ve paid for. Usage overage charges aren’t refundable, since those publishes already happened. Nothing here limits your statutory rights.

We reserve the right to revise our pricing with reasonable advance notice.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by requesting deletion via yo@socialized.dev (see our Data deletion page).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately and without prior notice if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior, fail to pay applicable fees, or if required to do so by destination platform policies or law.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that external platforms will accept, maintain, or distribute your content without interruption.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fishball Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any and all claims under these Terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or £100. Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When changes occur, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any revision constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
